Had a buddy in town from DC whos a Capt. in the USAF, and it was my dirty 30 bday sunday so we figured what better way to celebrate than to hit the river yest. Man it was nasty until around 2pm. Planned to hit some Sheeps, but weather made it real tuff so we went looking for bass.
We found em too. A big group of fat bachelors! Fished all live baits. had 12 hook-ups managed to land 6. All 6 were between 30’ and 36’. Fun fishing and was happy I could show my friend taking a break from the military a good time.
Bonus, they all for the most part were covered in spots and had great color!
