Started a company: Dolphin Charters LLC. Going to start off like everyone else has, slow and promote the biz until I get busy. Definitely going to seek out other captains that are willing to share leads when I’m booked and vice versa. I’m not going to focus on fishing. I have a 20’ CC and will do what I can with it until I get a more desirable touring boat with a COI for up to 10 people.
I am going to pursue yacht management or doing East coast boat delivery work. Hopefully, Charleston will make a good base for new owner looking for a mature captain.
Thanks to all the well-wishers. I thought is was pretty funny to read here that everybody has a 100 Ton Master credential. Man was I misinformed.
