Fished various parts of the reef yesterday from 2pm-5pm. Managed 11 sheeps and lots of keeper cbass in the 14" range. We only kept one sheepshead, 9.5#, to grill. The others were around the 2-3# range. Cbass were caught on jigs, spoons, cut bait, and fiddlers. Fishing was slow unitl 4pm, then we left 'em biting to race the sun back to the landing. For those interested, alot of pinfish were caught too on sabikis. Another beautiful and warm January day in the lowcountry! Tightlines
Glad you got out. I got your pics but could not access them online since my phone is old school. That is a nice sheep. Congrats sounds like a quick and fun day.
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day. FISH 24/7---- 25 Grady w/ a couple of Gas Guzzling 175 Johnsons “O-SEA-D” the old “Havanadaydream”
Good going Andy! We only managed 2 sheepshead today, and Paul caught them. I had a couple on that decided they liked it better where they were. We should have went bottom bumping today!
