Ok I have a weird one here. When I enter the coodinates into my 4212 chartplotter and then on my backup handheld GPS for the georgetown hole there is about an 10 mile difference between the two. I have verified the coordinates and they are right. Any clue what could cause this issue? I am going to call Garmin tomorrow to ask and I am going to try and update the chartplotter software as well. Anyone ever had this kind of issue? Its almost one of those this can’t happen something else must be going on kind of deals.
I had the same issue with my old 441s. A software update fixed it.

They moved a couple of satellites a few years ago and some older units will not pickup new satellite locations.
I’d say if you had a ten mile difference then the entered format may be incorrect. You may be entering degrees and decimal minutes and your gps unit is set to degrees and minutes and seconds for inputted data.
You may be entering the same data in both units but each is interpreting it differently. I would check each of the units input settings and see if they are the same and then make sure they match the format that you are entering.
