GPS

In the market for a GPS for my 17’ center console. I have a fish finder that covers depth and speed and water temp. I mainly want to be able to track where I’ve been and save locations and that sort of stuff, nothing fancy. I’m currently in school and would like to stay below $500, can anyone recommend one in that price range?

Look at the Garmin website. I am very pleased with my Garmin GPS…they should have a couple good options for 5 or under.

i love the garmin 440s. look at scuba steves marine outlet, they had an unbeatable price

I’ve got the Garmin 76CX and really like it. Waterproof, plus it floats and you can take it with you if you go in a different boat. It does everything you need it to do and well under $500. Small screen size, but probably the best bet if you don’t have much room to put one in. I also have a separate fishfinder, which limited my space on the dash.

Right now Bass Pro has a small e-trex Legend on sale for $100.00. I have one as a backup. It is as good as my big mounted GPS unit. If you can live with the tiny screen then that is the way to go for an inexpensive GPS.
