Grab Bar for Flats Boat

Had a guy today that wanted me to make a grab bar for his 14 foot tiller steer boat, something to hold onto while he stood up driving his boat. He’s planning on putting an extenion on the tiller handle also. It was his “plans” but I’ve never seen anything like it…I though it was a pretty cool idea…

A lot of the duck boats with those mud buddies or beavertails have those for just such a purpose. Also for when you jump downed trees in the swamp and need a handhold.
