I know a guy thaat wants to get rid of a reaaly decent looking 1999 Grady White 18 ft CC. I know they are great boats. Just wondering if that year has the Seav2 hull design and no wood? Anything I should look at that are problem areas on those boats of that era?

Same year as my 22’. I think by 99 all hills were the SeaV2. Decks will be cored with wood. I would inspect the deck for soft spots. Besides that, make sure it’s got plenty of power. These boats are heavy. Trim tabs will help even a 18’ of that weight. The boat rides amazingly well. Easy to work on. Great design makes for more room. I love mine.
I love Grady White’s I have owned 2 of them now, 228 and a 258. Heavy boats that handle rough water very well. They have a pretty good resale value. Don’t be scared of the wood construction just check the boat out like you would any other for soft spots.
