Gravity Feeders

Anyone interested in some gravity feeders for deer. I have three: (2) Banks 275lbs feeders, and (1) Boss Buck 350lbs feeder. $100 each.

Two of them are Banks 275lbs Gravity Feeders identical to the one in the pictures above. They sit on top of a 4x4. The second picture is actually one of the feeders.

The other one is identical to this one except I painted in with camo paint. It holds 350lbs of corn, and the ports are adjustable just like the Banks feeders.

The question was asked to me about why I was getting rid of them. I’m an honest person so hear is the brutal truth: I don’t have enough property to make them work they way it is supposed to work. I only have 13 acres, and the bucks(most of them anyway) I kill don’t live on my place or on the surrounding properties. I know because the cameras told me over almost 6 months. The bucks in the picture are the only three in that 6 months that showed interest in the feeders. All the other bucks I killed shoed up in late September for the first time. Bucks always come up to my property looking for the does that stay there year round…and I have a bunch of does. So, while it was easy to get 15 or more does trained in the off season to eat out of the feeders, the bucks that showed up in late September wanted no part of it. So, I pulled them out, and BAM!! Two nice bucks on the ground. If I had more acreage and a spot where the bucks actually live, they would work perfectly to train them on the feeders long before the season opened. My plan was to have 1000lbs of corn out so I would not have to fill up for at least a month or longer…less scent in the area. It mainly didn’t work for me because of unique circumstances with how the deer travel in and around my property. Otherwise, the feeders themselves work perfectly, and the does would empty a 275lbs feeder in a week…dang heifers! That was the reason I ended up getting more feeders.
