Does anyone fish Gray Bay? I wondered out there today on high tide and kept bumping into oyster bars. Looks like you could get stuck there on an outbound tide. Is it worth the effort? Any advice?
Lots of people fish in there… if you don’t know it well, I wouldn’t mess around there near an outgoing tide unless you had plenty of time on your hands. Check it out on lo-incoming and get a feel for it, its a minefield for sure…lots of fish in there, lots of fishermen as well…

I fish in there with a kayak and I’ve even had to hop out and drag it when it gets low. Lots of redfish to be caught in there but it may cost waiting for the tide to come back in.
