ROFFS? has indicated that the “Gulf Stream between Key West and Cape Hatteras has a series of counter-clockwise eddy features and other than in the Keys and Miami there are several Gulf Stream filaments with sea surface temperatures of 79?F-78?F over good bottom structure. This suggests that excellent fishing action is about to happen. If you are waiting for the calendar to hit May you probably will miss a week of good fishing action offshore.”
