My wife and I are down one kid, because our son is in Asheville with the grandparents this week. I asked my wife what she wanted to do today and of course she said fish! We loaded up the boat, our two year old daughter, and hit our creek. We found lots of bait and headed to her favorite dock. Unfortunately, the boat stopped working on the ride out, which later I found out that I ran out of gas:smiley:. Luckily we had the trolling motor and a short ride. We never left the dock because we were on constant fish for 3 hours. We ended up catching 10 reds, with the biggest being 27" , and two nice trout. We broke off atleast 10 drag screamers, and missed about 10 more which would have made it a banner day. The best part is that my wife is bragging about her battle wounds of blistered hands from fighting so many fish. Here are a couple pics from today. Wish I had more but my phone died.
Our daughter loves to kiss the fish. Cant see it, but she was sitting in a bucket of water which keeps her occupied for hours.
Here is one of the two trout I caught. Didnt measure him, but seemed like a nice sized one.

She loves the boat and playing in the livewell. Shes also my bait girl and loves picking mullet up off the floor as I drop them out of the cast net. Very fortunate to have a family that loves being on the water. Fingers crossed it stays that way and they dont get too âcoolâ to fish with mom and dad.
