Headed out to the reef for a nearshore trip with a few fellow Capt’s yesterday. We only caught a ton of small sea bass, with a few being keeper size, and some black drum. It was still a nice day in FAIR weather (finally) to get out in the blue. Targeting depths and tight contours (rises/drops) in 35-40ft of water. 53 deg water temp. Jigs and Zman soft plastics were the baits of choice and the bite stayed steady for 4hrs. Had a small school of reds pop up for a brief moment, but disappeared as soon as the pinged on the bottom machine / appeared 5ft under the boat. Here is to an early spring! Tight lines!
Thanks for the help…

Always a good time when rolling with the best out of Kiawah. Nothing like the brotherhood down there. Tight lines!
