Great Day on the Water Finding Some Reds

Had the opportunity to venture out with Capt. Geoff Bennett of Charleston Charter Fishing today. We had a great trip found lots of fish. Had a few takers landed one. A picture of the fly we used is included, very easy tie. Fished with Rio Bonefish Quickshooter Line for the first time it is an amazing product easy casting for someone new to fly fishing. Matched it up with a GLoomis NRX, the rod is featherlight with a great taper which also assist with casting.

Ready to find them again soon. They aren’t quite schooled up yet but they are in small groups. Get out and catch’em up.

The schools weren’t really classified as schools yet haha. They more like a few fish handing out together. Max around 10 fish hanging out together. Saw some monsters 30"+ Fish swimming alone cruising along the bank. Shouldn’t be to much longer. I can say we stopped on 6 flats in the Harbor area and ever flat had fish on it.
