Great Easter weekend

Went out early Saturday morning on the Wando and got a surprise right off the bat. 20" flounder on topwater! Definitely a first for me. Caught another flounder about 15" on a jerk shad. And caught a decent red right before getting back to the landing. Buddy caught a fat 28" red that gave him perma-smile for the rest of the trip. Later that evening took all my girls out for a quick paddle around the pond. Today had a great Easter service at church and then went home and built a sweet kayak rack for my '64 Chevy pickup. All in all a fantastic weekend. Pics below.

My other two girls were in the other kayak.

Flounder on topwater? I bet that was quite a blow up!!! I have seen them sky quite a few times but I have never had one hit topwater. Very cool

Don’t let the saltwater eat that cool truck up. My tailgate is almost completely rusted out because I didn’t hose it down every trip.
