I also enjoyed the meeting and the humor… I think having a variety of techniques in your bag is always helpful especially when one does not seem to be working or you just want to “sleep” or smoke your cigar…

Great job last night, Big John and Mr. Billy Durant! Good tips from some guys who really know how to fish cut bait. Fun presentation - and good advice from Big John on having fun during tournaments and not taking things too seriously. It’s easy to lose sight of that sometimes.
(We’ve got the rods and tackle covered for cut bait fishing…but I still need to get one of those Durant approved humidors on the boat…we don’t have one of those yet!)

Great job Big Jon and Billy.
Obviously I knew about most of what Big Jon said considering I fish with him, Shawn and Woody on occasion. However, I did not know anything about how to really cut bait fish as recent as 3 years ago even though I have been striper fishing for 15 years. Easy to forget that alot of people (new striper fisherman or veterans) get used to one type of fishing, whether it be freelining, downroding, cutbaiting, etc., and dont really know much about or experiement with the other techniques out there.
I appreciate all these presentations.
This was the best program we have had in a while, and we’ve had some good ones. Thanks Big John and Billy.
