Started fishing at sunup in Lily Pads and Grass where I caught fish last week. Only caught three from 1.5 to 2.5 pounds with Spinner Baits. Worked that area hard until 9:00 without anymore success, so ran across the lake into the Hatchery.
9:30 to 11:00 we caught four nice ones and a few smaller ones, using Chartreuse 3/8 ounce Rattle Traps
in 5 to 6 feet of water. She caught a 6 pound 2 ounce one after thinking she had snagged another stump, which is her best Bass so far.
Cold wind and rain finally got to much for her hands to keep fishing, so we quit at 11:00.
Water was 62 degrees and still muddy with about 24 inches of visibility.
