A buddy and I finally got a chance to go out this morning on a charter to the ICW and had an amazing time. Fished from 7:30 till 11:00 and ended up with 28 reds and 1 good sized bonnethead. I was really excited with the average size, I think the smallest we caught was about 3 lbs and the biggest was the one I’m holding below at 11 lbs. (Buddy caught a 9 lb too pictured below). All caught on live shrimp. An awesome way to start a Wednesday!
Charters get the job done!
“In every species of fish I’ve angled for, it is the ones that have got away that thrill me the most, the ones that keep fresh in my memory. So I say it is good to lose fish. If we didn’t, much of the thrill of angling would be gone.” Ray Bergman
