Great Program

“Santee” Carl did an excellent job on hitting the highlights of 6 most important medical things that could go wrong with you or your partner while fishing. We all take sfaety for granted sometimes and believe that these emergencies always happen to someone else. I know that we all practice safety all the time but let’s just be a little bit more careful and be aware of what is going on around us.

Thanks Tommy for lining up the program and thanks to “Santee” Carl for the presentation.

I almost missed this meeting cause i thought; shoot its only a safety/emergency presentation. But i went anyway and i must say i totally enjoyed it to the fullest. Thanks Carl. A great job indeed.

Ditto to all that’s been said! Great job Carl. Very informative and well-delivered.

Absolutely. This was one of the best presentations we’ve had in the three years I’ve been in the club.

No doubt, fantastic presentation… Things can and do go wrong… I had an outboard motor blow up and erupt in flames on Lake Lanier in 50 degree water and my daughter standing within 5 feet of it when the cowling blew the latches and launched 20 feet in the air…Fortunately I had replaced the fire extinguisher the week before and put the fire out immediately…the cowling landed 10 feet away and remained afloat while burning…i doused it with a bucket of water and kept it from sinking… I had some buddies there in another boat that pulled me to the ramp…If your boat has trouble cranking and u notice a sheen of gasoline out the back of the boat in the water, think carefully… cause your trip back to the boat ramp may be far different than you expected…

I’ve spent about 85% of my life’s wages on fishing, the rest I just wasted…
