Great trout bite up Wando

We headed out around 830am from Remley and fished the first cut on right past 526 bridge. Then moved up to the next cut on the right and slayed the trout all day. A few on top water and the rest on zman smokey shad. 1/4 head and fished it like a bass worm. It was awesome! 30+ trout from 10am to 3pm

Oh yeah I fell deeper in love with my boat. The ssw wind @ 15 and outgoing tide makes for deep trough waves. She fell into the hole and pushed the water out to both sides! I am learning as I go and I knew I needed a boat with wide flare. However Anything higher than 15mph means I need to stay home or find another ramp out of the receiving end…lol.

Hopefully the wind will let us fish the grillage tomorrow. Time for some bull drum!

1 there are no fish there! 2 what kind of boat are we talking about here?

15 mph winds, I’m up in the creeks behind the grass. My lil boat can’t handle the waves…

I second that, there are no fish North of that bridge on the Wando. Quit sending these nice folks on a wild goose chase:)

Give me a call if you are looking to buy or sell a home. Always like helping out a fellow fisherman!

Lol I noticed we didn’t have much company…We fished the right hand side very slowly between low tide…reel up slack… lift rod slowly. Only caught about 16 Saturday with one 10 lb red…

That’s actually a great looking little boat for inshore. I’ve been having trouble fishing mine inshore because I can’t get to all of the spots I’m used to fishing without getting stuck. I agree the Wando is a beautiful body of water.

I smell a pot stirrer…

Trout are everywhere this time of year. Caught about 20 in an hour on my kayak right off paradise landing a few weeks ago. Hopefully I can get back out there tomorrow

All fishermen are liers except me and you and I’m not sure about you.

Never heard of anyone catching fish up there. All fish are down around folly. Nothing to see in the Wando. Good job. Been averaging about 30 a day also.
