Went out last week around Edisto Banks. Found lots of 72 degree water but little action. Fouund a small boar in about 600 feet and pulled three slingers off of it. The cool thing was we cauget a small great white, about four feet long. He didnt come in the boat.

When I started reading your report, I thought you were about to say a great white ate a small “boar” swimming out by EB. That would have made a great report!
Sounds like the shark was quite a sighting anyway.
Hopefully more slingers pushing up our way.
Without pictures it never happened…

I just think it’s cool he found a boar in 600 ft of water…I didn’t know they could swim, much less 55 miles or so and not get eaten or drown!

The boars have eaten all the corn in the lowcountry so they’ve took to sea to rape and pillage the ocean. I think thats what I read in this thread.

I think the boar was feeding on the pollen lines we ran across. Sorry it’s board and no pics. Ask Tom Massey, he’s the one who lipped it.

If it was a Mako should have kept it! I believe I like Mako better than Wahoo. ummmm Wonder what Great White tastes like?
It’s a Carcharodon Carcharias, a Great White and all it does is swim and eat and make little sharks.
