is it OK on the beach on the back of the island where most of the boats go, to grill food on a small cooker?
Or is that one of the many no nos on the posted sign? I know “camping” is prohibited
not sure if grilling is prohibited but golfing, camping, fireworks, alcohol and people from Daniel Island are prohibited…

You forgot fun. FUN is also now prohibited on Morris…thanks litterbugs!
Hey now the governement knows better than you do. They say no more fun allowed so deal with it.
Wow you’re right. This is the same government that says there are no more red snapper out there and want to close the whole area off from fishing. I guess I’ll have to deal with it because they must be right…they are the gummint.
" I’m from the government and I’m here to help."
I’d rather see no golfing, camping, fireworks or alcohol on that beach than the crap I have seen out there for the last few years…too much easy access for people who either don’t care or were too young to be doing what they were doing in the first place…that island is hallowed ground, not an ashtray…

Amen…no respect for history. Its been turned into a “Hedonism II” resort. Drove by last summer. Thank God my daughters were’nt on board ! Hope they are raised better than what we saw. Problem is there were a lot of adults my age behaving the same way. There’s a time and a place for that …and that’s not the place. Like putting up a disco at Arlington.
it seems to be a bunch of 20 yr olds or many hi school kids with (I hope) dad’'s boat, plus some 45 yr olds trying to be 20, plus the young couples with the dogs they let loose.
No matter where you go, your bound to find a croud that will mess it up for the rest.

</font id=“quote”></blockquote id=“quote”>brock agrees with the wisdom of bonzo.
the multitude of folks who have more money than sense, are more selfish than they are considerate, or are more lazy than vigilant, are those who mess it up for those of us who eat, sleep and breathe saltwater, and who scrape and save just to be able to experience it as often as possible.
i haven’t been there since the sign was posted, so i would like to know exactly what’s on it…
i say grill your heart out, edward h. you’re considerate enough to ask, which means you’re going to take your trash with you when you leave.
Two other groups I left out are:
I’m sure my boat will fit in that 4 ft wide space between your boat and the one next to it.
and
watch my boat to see of its anchor drags and it swings into yours? why would I do that?
also, there’s the ongoing “my music is louder AND crappier than your music” competition!
