In a bowl put minced garlic, olive oil, and Jane’s Crazy Salt(at the Pig) and microwave for 20 sec to infuse the garlic and soften the taste of it. Baste okra and then put on hot grill for just a few minutes to score the sides, too long will cause it to burst but that will not be too bad. Enjoy the nutty flavor. I put it back on the plate it was seasoned on to absorb more garlic.
Try it overnight in a zip-lock bag with Italian dressing can’t go wrong with it on the grill! We sometimes broil it in the oven just have to watch it close to keep from burning.
Crazy Janes!! umm If I was ever on a survival show that would be my one request, I think I could eat almost anything with crazy Janes. Getting harder to find, been using it for 30 years… keep extra in the house.

I tried this last night, minus the Crazy Jane’s but with plain salt. Absolutely wonderful!! I have a garden full of okra right now so I’ll be firing up the grill several more times a week if for nothing else but to roast my okra.
Thanks for the recipe!!
*THATS JUST MY OPINION, I MAY BE WRONG.
