Jazzed wanted to get together with lynnmcd and myself to grill up some blackfin tuna that Miss Amanda had graciously provided. We had a wonderful lunch. The kids even ate it up! The menu was fried black sea bass, grilled tuna kabobs marinate in teriyaki, sesame oil, minced ginger, garlic, lemon juice etc., tomato cucumber and onion salad, garlic roasted mashed potatoes, grilled zuchinni, fresh steammed asparagus, and peach salsa, along with copious amounts adult beverages. Needless to say, not much was left. Almost as much fun as catching it!

The photo doesn’t do it justice, should have got a closer shot. Blame it on the adult beverages!

First of all THANKS again Lynn and LE. It was superb! Seems like I had read on here that Blackfin was no good. Wrong by our taste. Kids said it tasted like Teriyaki chicken. Lynn n crew caught it Thursday and he brought me a quadrant Friday. I didnt want to screw it up and knew that LE is a chef the likes of Penny. BTW Penny I drool over your post but this actually melted in my mouth. Lynn warned Bill and he called. I just figured Id roll over at lunchtime today and wed throw it on his awesome grill and have a nice quick lunch. Wrong. In less than 24 hours he whipped this up and it was awesome. It was a sight to see Lynn eat vegtables. Their was more seabass but it made great appetizer with the beverages. Thank God for friends and fish and good cooks. Look out Penny ; ) LE you are the MAN!
Ya know, I’ve never had blackfin, and I reely want to try it! Actually, I cannot wait to land a BFT and a wahoo on my boat! Looking forward to your summertime posts, LE!

No tuna for me this year I guess though. Maybe next year:smiley:
