I almost always bring at least one of my kids. Sometimes they fish and sometimes they just run around screaming (usually a bit of both), but either way we all have fun.

Thatās funny. Everyone knows that the reds pulled out of Louisiana Park start at 45 inches. Speaking of fish tails, the fellow in that photo told me about a buddy who swore he knew an old salt that landed a small marlin in the surf back in the day. I tried to look it up, but found nothing.

I spotted one off the beach on SI one time. It was well out of casting range, but close enough to make me wonder what if.
