GROUPA!

The day before my birthday which is actually today I got a unexpected present! While I have been striking out bigger than sht on inshore fishing I went offshore again with ThreeDogNight and his beautiful boat! We were gonna bottom fish only because if the fish were here this time of year I sure wouldnt know how to find them. We left about 7am and stopped to sabiki bait. Got a couple dozen and headed out. Tried three different spots and got enough bliners through the cudas to limit out. Three or four heads did come up that wasnt reeled in at WARP speed. Dropped at grouper rig on the bottom while chicken riggin some squid all day. As we were gettin ready to leave my grouper rod goes off. One of the swimmers got me a nice one. We were all high fivin and taking pictures happy as hll.

Dropped another one down and I had just put the rod in the holder when it bent over again! I got a couple cranks on the reel to make sure he didnt get into anything and passed it off to a buddy who had done the same for me before and low and behold this bad boy was twice the size of the first one! It was awesome to target one species and actually be able to bring them home.

freaking pictures never work for me

Didn’t see that… Maybe take the spaces out of the photo’s name before you upload it???

You’re the computer guru, I’m just a boat builder:smiley:
