I had her Squirrel hunting with a 410 last season. I started her shooting a 20 gauge single and a 20 gauge 870 this spring, with plans for her to use a 20 gauge for Turkey next spring. After taking her shooting this afternoon though, with her shooting her Mom’s 12 gauge semi for the first time…it looks like I’ll be setting her up a 12 gauge for Turkey instead. She likes shooting the 12 semi better than the 20 pump…
Good deal,she’ll have a better chance at success with the 12.With today’s new gas operated guns,why not. My boys learned with an A-5 and my pap gave me a Fox double barrel.haha

Yep. Should be a good season for Squirrels this year for her…not so much for the Squirrels though with her shooting something bigger than a 410…
This guy is 7 months old. Will have him sitting with me turkey hunting in 18 months. Can’t wait.
