Made it to the jetties @ 6am to greet a confused sea to say the least. Put the lines in at 7:50 within 20 min reel went off bonita. @10 picked up a king around 20lbs @ 12 picked up a slinger and last fish picked up around 3 nice gaffer phin. Headed in around 3:40 the sea had layed down enough to make 35 on the way back. Rough one for the first trip of the year,but the boat rode well and we caught a few fish. Weeds were very scattered out keeping us busy temps were from 68.8 to 70.5 it looked as if the weeds were trying to group back together from the high winds Thurs and Fri.Thanks for the report.
