Started day at the Georgetown Hole. We found green 75 degree water but decided to put the spread out and troll out to Bubble Rock where there had been weedlines last week. We picked up two dolphin in 170 ft in the first 45 minutes. Hooked a wahoo while trying to put the spread back out after the second dolphin but pulled the hook on it. After that we started trolling torwards Bubble Rock. There was a long patchy weedline in 600 ft. It had about 25 boats on it so we kept going. Found a pretty good edge inshore of the rock and followed it south. It got better the farther south we went. Grass and bait but only picked up one fish. We picked up and ran back into the GT Hole to bottom fish until the afternoon bite started. The crew managed to catch a trumpetfish and the largest wrasse I have ever seen. Started trolling where we picked up our mahi in the morning at 170 ft. around three. By then there were only a few boats in the area. We hooked five more of which two were prematurely released. The highlight of the afternoon was watching a cow greyhounding after the short rigger lure. She missed it then took a whack at the mousetrap which she also missed before she came tight on the long rigger. Slow day but a great day.
