GT Hole 6/2

Got a late start leaving Murrells Inlet around 0730, then ran into several rain showers which caused us to slow down for a while, arrived at the hole around 1000 and put lines in. Trolled out to 850 with no sight of any weeds and a lifeless deep blue ocean. Turned around and headed back to the Hole about 1300 and hooked a smallish Mahi that threw the hook bout half way in, the shortly after we hooked up a good bull only to lose him right behind the boat  then a double on slingers revived our spirts, and another slinger and a gaffer soon came over the rail. then a blackfin right as we were picking up the lines to head for the hill. Seas were nice all the way back except the last 11 miles, which threw us around and slowed us back to about 15 knots, After a late start and iffy weather we had a great day on the water and my Daughter and my Girlfriend and my 73 year old Dad all caught their first Mahi each and my son finally got his blackfin he was looking for !!! I Love It when a plan comes together !!!
