Fished the GT hole Monday. Water temp was 66.5 degrees, except we found one pocket at 68.5 degrees. Blackfin busting on surface all day. Was really fishing for wahoo so pulled mostly bigger stuff on wire. Caught 5 blackfin with one weighting in at 31 pounds. Could of loaded the boat if we wanted too. Nice day overall.
Sushi!
Look at where Jesus went to pick people. He didn’t go to the colleges; he got guys off the fishing docks.
Sounds like a blast, i sure would have loaded up with some tunas if i had the chance. 31 lbs is an awesome blackfin! Water’s getting warm quick
Yes the 31 was nice, hit a blue and white islander with large ballyhoo on wire. Another around 20 and the others typical football size. Warm water pocket right on ledge and maybe 1/2 mile square. All were chock full of 1.5 to 2 inch small squid.
Thanks for the report!!!

Unfortunately, I was in the yellow 35 contender and I barked the props the first time ever. The freeman looked like a cork too, but it looked smooth from when I saw it. I don’t know who owns it.
