you eat all of those fish?

Nice catch, but you told me on the phone that you got all of your fish at Y-73. Are you trying to throw off the CF.com crowd?

The skippies will make solid crab trap bait, the micro-blackfins have become sushi appetizers and the wahoo was split three ways. I can’t speak for the rest of the crowd but I gave half away to the hospital vacuum-sealed and froze a quarter and then cooked the rest for myself.

I’m telling these guys the truth and lying to you. I don’t need you spearos to swoop into my secret wahoo/tuna hole and wreck shop on a valuable ecosystem. You do enough damage on the bank-sea bass and lizard fish as it is.

We had a couple of bad packs of ballyhoo so I kept a couple in case we needed some strip baits to troll.

if you search the cooking your catch forum, Jordan has a good way to can your own skippies. worth a look…

Also, GREAT work on the fish fellas!

“mr keys”

I know someone who has a dynamite ceviche recipe for bonito, I’m sure it would work well with other bloody species like little tunny and skipjacks, you should ask him…

#Croom?

We kept a couple of skippies down in the keys last month amid a ton of blackfin…
Bled em good and made tuna salad out of them. It was freakin awesome, never tried it before and I was glad we did.

It looks like a murder scene when you fillet those skippies. You guys have at 'Em.

Ahhhh!!! Got it... Shhhhh.... Right! We will send all of the bozos up to GTH where they can run over each others lines as they cut each other off and scream "I'm just trying to catch a fish man!" in search of the glorious tiger mackerel. Your secret is safe with me.

By the looks of that water color, I would have pegged you at the Blackjack Hole. More wahoos are caught there than any other place on the East Coast. I’m just glad most people don’t know about it. If I told people that they were nailing them up there right now, there would be 150 boats there next calm weekend!

Is this the part where the cartoon character comes out of the hole and gets shot in the head?

That escalated quickly.

WTF.

I have greatly diminished my learning curve by reading these boards and having candid discussions with individuals from this website over the last 10 or so years. I attempt to give a general framework in all of my reports which requires a fellow fisherman to read between the lines and make assumptions and if that person takes the next step to call or PM me I will gladly give them a few more details. Our wahoo and tuna fishing has evolved over the past few years and it finally all came together this past trip. Actually, a good portion of our tactics came from observing Courtland on the Freeman one Wednesday afternoon. I apologize if mentioning we caught fish in 400-600ft of 76 degree water at the Georgetown Hole ruffled some feathers but that is some pretty (() vauge information. Those details will more than likely still be included in my next report. All fish on the troll came on blue/white flash ilanders. The wahoo love those (() things.

I didn’t know it escalated. I thought we were just having fun.

It’s all fun and games until a cartoon character is mortally wounded. Thanks Courtland. It’s because of stuff like this that gun control among animated characters is such an issue in this country.

Its all fun and games until someone brings up cartoon snuff films.

Speaking of escalation… What’s up with your prices at SD Courtland, every time I leave there my credit card company calls me and asks if someone stole my card and made a large purchase…

Maybe I should be the one shot in the face
