Went in search for the warm water yesterday but couldn’t find it. We put lines in at 150 ft and 67 degrees and it seemed to have all the action. Touche hooked a 54# wahoo on the shotgun that he fought for almost an hour. We brought in a 56# and two others in the 30# range.
Decided to drop to the bottom and picked up two african pompano and a cobia. We also saw a wahoo chase a popping plug and what looked like a massive school of yellowtail snapper under the boat aboce 50 ft down.
Great day. Lots of action. Touche has a lot more pictures. Hopefully he will have recovered from the fight and can post them soon.
