Played hooky yesterday to take advantage of the beautiful weather. Fished GTH early from the ledge to 800’. Only action was a 15 lb mahi off a really hard to fish weedline in 700’ and 69 degrees. Moved to SW banks and managed a nice 50lb wahoo. Pretty day on the pond.

Water temperature was right around 70. Hoo hit a ballyhoo with a blue and pink switch on 60 lb flouro on the wtfb. We did our best to let him cut off even allowing him to get tangled up with our braid downrigger line until I was forced to tail gaff him, which I am not proud of. We are going to try to get out again Friday.

Was there also, 2 Hoos, 2 Mahi. went off shore found the weed line also, Ton of Bait Birds and 71.5 water, No Fish. friend went to Bubble Rock said they caught 15 fish.74 degree water.

we went too but caught nothin- (shameless post) first skunked trip. hi lite was we ran the boat out at 35 and ran it in at 40-45. fished from royal t. out past 226 - and back in. tons of fliers. we saw temps from 66 - right at the ledge in 120’ to 77 out past the 226 in 100+ fathoms.
