Fished out of Gorgetown Friday to a smooth ride out. Went to the hole and missed a wahoo and a dolphin. Nothing else for a couple hours. Pushed offshore to about 1400’ and found a good weed line and I was on. We put 21 dolphin in the boat in about an hour and a half. I looked back and CF was driving the boat with one hand and reeling a fish with the rod still in the leaning post with the other hand. We had a 14 year old on the boat an it was his first trip so he had a blast running to the fish box reeling and washing blood off the floor. The fish kept me and new Zion busy for a while. We had a big bull cross two lines and take the bird rig other than that everything went smooth. The wind picked up and broke the weeds up and it was over. Good times and good friends!
