GTownJettiesWaterTemps

Just have a question to the more experienced salty fisherman. I am not a novice at all!

(Last Fall Pictures)

What are the water temps to get back to the rocks to catch sheep’s head in Georgetown? And is it better to go on the outside due to all the still high flood waters inland? I am thinking 65 degree’s but have heard you can catch in the winter months. Since I can’t walk on water, don’t want to go to the 3 mile.

(We caught a LOT of fish-all species using sand fleas over the summer. Freeze them sandy-on the dry end, don’t wash. They wont stick and rip apart. You will not find them any place in Garden city where they did a dredge or pushed sand up for the hurricanes. This has happened for 2 the last years so I go toward the point before the rocks in the surf.)
