Rolled out to gtwn hole at 5:00am from the ION dock and had lines in the water at 7:40. Nice ride out and had great friend and dad on the boat. Started in 200ft and had the WTFB go of 20 min. later, landed a very fat whoo, aprox 45lbs then just as soon as we got the wtfb back out it went screaming off agian, this time we gave the line to my dad and he spent 30 minutes fighting a nice size bull dolphin.(pics enclosed) Finished the day with 12 very nice size dolphin and the whoo. We were suprised there were not many boats out.
Most frustrating part of the day: watching yellowfin busting on the top of the water in a frenzy then saw one jump through the air after fliers, we had them bust 50ft. off starbord, we got our shot when the starboard outrigger went off like freight train, we got on it but the fish spit the hook. Good to see the tuna out there just wish we could have clompleted the tri fecta…tight lines
