Nautigirl has the closest guess. We didn’t have a scale but a lady at the marina brought one to us. It went 38 lbs. Wish it would have hit the 40 lb. mark. That just seems a lot bigger.
Also, saw some guys cleaning a dolphin and cut the stomach open to find two big pieces of plastic with jagged edges (about the size of a credit card) No doubt his days were numbered. Glad he ended up on a dinner plate and not shark food.
Dolphin days are numbered anyway. Very few live past 3 years old.
This one was 8-10 lbs.
