I think they do more golfing than fishing there. Not a lot of inshore waters besides the St. Johns river. Nothing like we have here anyway.

I’m sure he’d be willing to drive 15-20 mins to fish any part of the JAX area…and yes, golf is also on the agenda!

He will be twenty miles from mosquito lagoon which is some of the best inshore in the country. Go on Hells bay’s web site and call a couple of guides that work the area or call jb s fish camp for a suggestion. Very big trout this time of the year

Our Power/HVAC guys down there highly recommend a Capt Tony Bozzella. Closely followed by Capt Kevin Faver, Capt Chris Holleman and Capt Bret Cannon. No personal experience for me but I trust Chris and Dave’s opinion.
If you need any additional info or suggestions, those guys said don’t hesitate to call them. Let me know if you need their contact info.

I go there for work often; there is great fishing in that area. I’m sorry I don’t have any guides to recommend. Near there is the Guana Reservoir. Great place to take a yak, and they have been pulling some absolute gator trout out of there recently. A 31"er last week in fact.

I would recommend the above Captains and also include Capt Kirk Waltz who is a Charleston native living in Jax. Tommy Derringer is a great guide in the St Augustine area.
If you are looking to Kayak fish I would look at Captains Rory Gregg, Mike Kogan, or Roger Bump.
