Gun Appraisal in Charleston

Anyone have a place they reccommend or who they have had a good experience with? My father passed away 24 years ago and I quit hunting right about then. I want to get the value on a couple before I list them for sale. I tried to look online but the values are not consistant between sites. Thanks

Get a Blue Book or Standard Catalog of Firearms and look them up. A good many of the shops around can’t appraise a gun either, most of the people behind the counter don’t know how.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Go on gunbroker.com and create an account. Then you can do an advanced search for COMPLETED auctions. If you’ve been looking at asking prices, they don’t mean much. What they actually sold for is what you need.

Go see Barney Limehouse on John’s Island next to the True Value.
