Fellas (and Penny), do any of ya’ll have one of those gun bibles that gives a very educated value of most any gun? I came across a Remington 550-1 in .22 S, L, and LR I bought at my pawn shop. It’s probably in 80% condition. Any help would be awesome!
Give or take $300. It wasn’t an expensive or rare rifle.

According to my 2013 edition, EXC is $350, VG is 275 and GOOD is $150. Production was ~220,000 between 1941 and 1971. If it has the rear peep sight then the values are $25 higher on all conditions.
You must have gotten quite a deal to buy it without knowing what it’s worth. Good for you.
I have one of those, fun little gun to shoot.

I have the newest version at the house. I can check it later if you like.

Thanks fellas. I can’t say I got a great deal, but the shop will make a little money. I’ll put $149 on it and negotiate from there. Thanks again!

Looks like you might be able to put a little more on it.
