Gut Wrench 6/23 bottom fishing report

This trip almost didn’t happen but Thanks to Skips Prop Shop it did just 4 hrs later than expected.

finally hit the water at 9:30 to hunt for bait, took awhile but final we nailed some of the biggest “Bunka” i have seen in some time.

Headed to my spot around 11:30,got there a 1;30 only to have a shrimp boat sitting on the sport i wanted to go to(yes they were bottom fishing)moved over to some other area right near there.Pretty much a repeat of 2 weeks ago, scamp after scamp coming over the rail,no need to measure they were that big,had 9 real quick then the bite died, moved around and slowly got our 15 grouper limit.

Good day,Good crew that had faith that i was not giving up on this trip no matter what.(it was a stressful 12hrs)

Again Thanks to S Hammond at Haddrells for trying to help and thanks to Skips for opening the door 1.5 hrs early to help me out,and then tried to refuse a tip…

Glad ya still got out Bob! Thank the good lord for a calm ocean to let you run out later.Happy yall were able to throw some fish in after a bad morning start! We slipped out sunday and drug some baits around 120ft for 4 hours. Picked up 5 dolphin(3 good fish, 2 slingers) and some of the largest falsies I have ever seen. Fun 4 hours and good fish for the dingy

Good job, Bob.

Sometimes the trips that take the most work are the most rewarding!

Nice fishing Bob.

Had a blast Bob. Thanks for another great trip! Next time I’ll try not to be so introverted! I’ve never laughed so much on a fishin trip. Something about not knowing if we’re going to an epic trip made for a memorable one.
