More than likely out of range. We took my 4 year old nephew king fishing for a half day down to the south and in appropriate manner, tuned into 68 instead. Caught a couple of kings and a buttload of sharks. Oh well, I guess the SKA just isn't in the cards for my future. Water looked kind of dead where we were, but we only had a few hours so no time to look around.

GW how deep did you fish? I dropped down on a few of my spots after trolling and couldnt get through the AJs. Swarms of them. Water temp was a 77

If the comedy channel on your XM goes out switch your VHF to 68.

DNR has issued a kill on sight request to anyone encountering lionfish. They are invasive and eat everything and only a few species of sharks will eat them. Sharks and barracudas on the other hand are native to the area and vital (especially sharks) to the ecosystem.
