This was a meat fishing day and a good one too…
kept 30 dolphin and 1 wahoo,(released about 10 small ones)seems everyone on board had fish fry’s or a list of people who wanted some gold,and since i never know when my last trip on the Gut Wrench will be(only 4th trip of the year,wow i have been neutered), we did what we could…had some serious gaff work being done,thought i was watching some kind of sword fight at times,we have gone from having triple swipe on the boat to our newest member “james the kid slasher”…it worked but wasn’t pretty.so how many gaff holes does it take to get a dolphin in the boat?
very bumpy ride out but laid down nice and was a great fishing day.
Off to let Happy Bob fix somemore broken welds…thank god for ratchet straps and bungee cords…
