GutWrench takes Bunka Bill to the ledge.

Headed out sat am with 3 regulars and a new recruit"Bunka Bill" took forever to make bait, finally left Morris island area around 8am headed to our not so secret spot at SWB…lines in finally at 1030,nice ride out, roll over my numbers to set the anchor and as i go past the bottom looks alive, slam on the brakes and drop 3 down, bam bam bam 3 scamps in the boat, decided we will anchor here,by noon we have our 5 man limit of grouper,so as we eat lunch and decide what to do for the rest of the day someone drops down and here comes a cobia…

decide to head in shallower to get our fill of monster BSB,no problem there,we throw back 15inchers kept the bigger ones, with i think final count was 7-8 BSB,a few nice vermillion,a lion fish:smiley:,some red porgy’s…oh yeah a few endangered red snapper came up for a visit, they are getting big but decided they wanted to stay below so off they went…
Great day and good to see Bunka Bill get his first taste of offshore bottom fishing here in Charleston.

You know you did good when people are complaining how sore their reeling arm is:smiley::smiley:

nice report bob- glad to hear you getting on them- no dolphin came by the boat out there?
