If you’re not effecting the world around you in a positive manner…you’re taking up too much space.

I don’t know Sue, and don’t wear the Harvey shirts, but I think most business owners can value the idea of free press in a magazine. Ad slots start at a couple of hundred bucks for a 1/4 page, and that’s in the free ones that are given out at stores. We sponsored a guy once for a tournament, and the next thing we knew, our name was plastered on the side of the boat in a two-page ad in the center of a national sportfishing magazine. I took the editor from Tideline fishing once, and the next month, the big sailfish we caught that day was on the cover of “Tideline”, accompanied by a small blurb about it being caught on our boat inside the cover. He also gave me a nice enlargement photo for the wall at home. Both were totally unexpected, and I found out by someone calling me to tell me in each case. Makes sense to me.

Gotcha Covered,

Thanks Lee. You get it. I am not some out of town premadonna looking for a hand out. I love my local fellas. I LOVE the fishing community. I want to FISH! Want to write about it and promote the boat through my writings. As it stands now on a Friday afternoon, I do not have a boat to fish on for the Edisto tournament. I am covered for the next two tournaments (Fishing for Miracles (Hutch Holesberg with Key West Boats and SCSSA Sailfish) but not for this one.

Hahah…(**() reef donkey is right. Those West Virginia boys that I was fishin’ with that day wanted it for dinner! There was no talking them out of it either, lol. Have we fished together upsmansc? I haven’t checked out your profile to see who the man is behind the handle. At least I don’t have a ***** attitude, just a lil’ sassy is all.
