Big congrats to all the weekly winners, and congratulations to Patrick Johnson for winning the overall. Thanks for all that participated, and hope everyone had a great time with the tournament. Look forward to doing it again next year, and like mentioned before this is all 100% payback, with all money going right back to the winning anglers.LOTS of big fish were produced
the bsb’s will most likely be on the reefs in jan-feb as well, but this is the time of year I would recommend targeting your closer reefs in 25-35ft of water if you want to push out a little bit. The 40-60ft reefs should have some resident sheeps on them, but prob a little early for big numbers of big fish. good luck!
Absolutely. All of the large sheeps we have weighed in recently have been from inshore waters (harbor, jetties, folly river, etc). Late february through march is typically when the majority of the large sheeps are out on the reefs.Nov and Dec,IMO, are the 2 best months for targeting sheepshead in our inshore waters.hope this helps
Thanks i been deepholin in beaufort and few weeks ago the sheeps were killin it there fished wed threw sat only caught 2 may have to come that way weekend.
