DD, and all tourney competitors,
I would have loved to be out there for the tourney, but my wife decided this was her weekend for her time, and my time for the kids, who am I to argue. She was basically a single parent for the better part of the last year while I deployed, so if she decides that this is her weekend, so be it.
Based on the support I’ve seen on this forum, the yak fishing sport will continue to gain in popularity, as will the tourney. I know TBjr absolutely loves it!
I do like the idea of an inpromptu fish off. I had a great time with DD and NikonJ and friends last week. I think Nikon unofficially had the biggest, and DD had the best visual with the double hookup.
I’ll be in Redfishville during Veterans Day Weekend, and hopefully every weekend before that, if you’re coming out let me know I’ll keep an eye out.

Why Redfishville, when we will be having BARF 2007 that weekend at Hunting Island State Park, in Beaufort… You will have great comraderie, excellent Frogmore Stew, great fishing, get a nice t-shirt and could win some prizes… 
Come on down… Redfishville will be there every weekend, BARF gatherings only come twice a year.

Never too late to put in for the permit… She might enjoy Beaufort and the beach at Hunting Island while you fish… Then dinner at Johnson Creek Tavern Saturday night… Just a couple of miles from the park.

DD, Folks down at Hadrell’s, thanks for putting together a fine opportunity to get together and participate in this 2nd kayak tourney. Sorry I did not make it back to the final get together. I was really interested in how well all the other kayakers did. I caught 2 suprisingly smaller spotails and one 17" black drum on cut mullet and dead shrimp. I will continue to encourage “newcomers” to visit Time Out Sports and Hadrell’s for their outdoors needs. Again, thanks for your sponsorship. See you guys out on the water. v/r TF 
Stinky Fingers, it was good to finally meet you. I like that handy dany fish box you put together. Also, nice fish. I will make one of those “stinky finger boxes” hopefully for the next go round and maybe use small bundees to hold the fish in place. Have a great weekend. v/r txf
