I have seen a few schools off Folly Beach so far this month.

Wasn’t Feb 2011 the big “Folly Mehnhaden Kill”?

So great to see a mild winter. I’m fishing mid-March method and looking forward to an awesome spring.

I walked to Morris Island today and I thought I saw a flicker and I was like nah to early, but maybe it was …

I typically go by boat but I understand the appeal if you can do it.

Last week I watched a flipper teaching her calf how to eat them in the Copper. Never seen them in there this early but they were every where.

they also seem to be overwintering up the rivers- have seen them schooled in the santee and waccamaw in almost fresh water. quite infested with parasites including anchor worms, mouth isopods, and leeches- i’m not sure they’re “supposed” to be there right now… feels like may, so where are the cobes?
