Me Teddy Bear Rebecca and Sambo Luckie left the dock at 5 and headed to a super secret spot in about 140’, lines in at 7 and caught a king before we had the trap set. Then with the king in my hands shoving it into the fishbox we hook up on a sail on the short rigger, two jumps and it was all she wrote, sucked to loose this fish it was a good one. Trolled out to around 325’ on the 350 line and managed several nice dolphin and a few peanuts and some trash fish, no more bill shots for the rest of the day. Congrats to all who released fish on saturday. Took a nice fall getting the wtfb down from the rocket launcher a will be sore for some time, i nearly stuck the rod in my side on the way down…not pretty! Ride home was nice, lehi’s were preffered once again. Got a very cool pic on the way.

Preston, thanks for another great day on the pond. The ride out was nice(once I was safely out of the jetties). Fishing was slow, but enjoyed the company. The sail hook-up was awesome, too bad we couldn’t get him to the boat. Sorry I don’t have any pics of Sambo…he’s not too photogenic.

Good Job! Pretty Mahi!
~Offshore is where I will always belong~
Way to go guys and girls. We went deep in search of the man in the blue suit. No such luck. Caught a small mahi and hooked up a few more on rubber hooks. Got to watch Todd and his wife hook 2 sails and a 60lb wahoo all at the same time!! They ended the day with 3 sails, the wahoo and 3 dolphin. Just the 2 of them in the boat. The fish wouldn’t even look at our baits. Oh well, gotta pay for all the good days we have had this year. Good going to you again.
