Kicked out yesterday to some live bottom in around 90 feet. Ocean was a little choppy on the way out but turned absolutely gorgeous around noon. Limited out on beeliners with some triggers, porgy, sea bass and even a mutton snapper thrown in the mix. Caught a bunch of reds as well but of course won’t be able to make the mini season. Couldn’t get a live bait to the bottom for grouper because of the insane amount of amberjack but had a guy on board that had never caught one so let him do the honors most of the day. Didn’t see another boat out there all day, fall fishing is amazing. Couldn’t have asked for a better day or better ocean. Ran back in at 27 knots and once we cleared the jetties trimmed the engines up and topped out at 50mph, that was a first!
Nice report
